Hello, I'm Arwen, a tomcat of about one year. When my current foster mum discovered me, my eyes were in a really bad state. At the vet it turned out that, on the one hand, I had herpes viruses and, on the other, I was born with entropion. This means the eyelids are rolled inwards, so they constantly rub against the eye, irritate it and hurt. Luckily I was able to have surgery. In a few weeks, once everything has fully healed, my eyes should finally stop causing me any trouble. By nature I'm extremely curious and friendly. I love being around people, I'm keen to get to know unfamiliar cats and people, and I inspect every corner of the flat. I get along well with other cats. Because I'm still so young, playing is my absolute favourite thing. My foster mum got me a whole pile of toys, and I keep myself busy with them almost from morning till night. I'm a real bundle of energy. I do sometimes sit on a lap and purr, but after a few minutes it usually gets too boring for me and I want to go back to playing. Because I can rarely sit still, things can get a bit wild in the litter box, and now and then I end up with dirty paws. By the way, I have a rather funny pattern on my back, have a look at it in the photos! I'm meant to live as an indoor cat, with only secure outdoor access, and not alone: another cat by my side would be just right for me. I'm hoping for people who don't mind my temperament and who would like a real, fluffy friend by their side. If you'd like to give me a safe and loving home, feel free to get in touch with us. Maybe I'll be moving in with you soon!
