Hi, I'm Hero. 🤍 People often ask me how I got my name. The truth is... I had to earn it. I was only seven days old when someone left me on the doorstep of an animal rescuer. I was so tiny that I should have been spending my days curled up beside my mum. Instead, I was fighting for my life. My eyes and nose were completely sealed with infection. I couldn't see. I could barely breathe. The veterinarians did everything they could to save me, and my foster mum refused to give up on me. She bottle-fed me day and night, rushed me to the clinic whenever something went wrong, and celebrated every tiny victory. But my biggest battle was still ahead. While I was growing up, I stopped breathing three different times. Each time, everyone feared it would be the last. Each time, the vets said there was very little hope. But my foster mum kept fighting for me. She performed CPR, rushed me to the emergency clinic, stayed by my side, and never stopped believing that I would pull through. And somehow... I did. Again. And again. And again. That's why my name is Hero. Because my foster family fought for me. The veterinarians fought for me. And I fought, too. Growing up, my foster mum took me everywhere with her, even to work. I was surrounded by people who cuddled me, kissed me, carried me in their arms, and filled every day of my life with love. I truly believe that all those hugs and all that kindness helped this tiny little kitten become the happy boy I am today. Now I absolutely adore people. I love other cats, I love being close to my humans, sleeping on the bed, playing, and simply enjoying every single day that I was lucky enough to be given. Maybe all those battles had one beautiful reason... To lead me to my forever family. ❤️🐾
