Hello, my name is Linnea! I'm a calm, gentle girl who absolutely loves to cuddle. I don't need to play the leading role all the time, and I don't turn every corner of the flat upside down either. I much prefer to stay close to my humans, watch what they're doing and simply enjoy being part of it. I don't necessarily ask to be carried, but if you pick me up, I'll happily stay in your arms. Most of the time it's enough to talk to me or reach your hand out to me, and I start purring right away. Even when I don't quite like something, I stay patient and friendly. Scratching or hissing just isn't me. Even at the vet I put up with examinations and all that annoying prodding surprisingly calmly. That doesn't make me boring, though: I'm curious, just in a sensible way. I want to know what my humans are up to without having to inspect every forbidden spot myself. For a long time I had no idea how much I would enjoy such a cosy life. I was born on a garage roof, hidden under a small garden cart. My mum was still a young street cat herself, and two brothers were born with me. One of them was taken in by people and found a family far away. The other sadly didn't survive life on the street. For a while I still had a little ginger tomcat from the neighbourhood as a playmate. We romped around together, and every now and then I watched the people who brought us food, stroked us briefly and then went away again. I often wondered where they went. One evening I found out, because someone took me with them. Suddenly I had a warm home, a soft little bed, toys, good food and people who look after me. I soon realised: life as an indoor cat is truly wonderful. Sadly I can't stay with my foster family, because they travel a lot. So the most important chapter of my story is still missing: a home where I can settle in and stay forever. Since I get along well with other cats, I don't want to live as an only cat but with a suitable feline friend by my side. I'm an indoor cat, unsecured outdoor access is out of the question for me, but a well-secured balcony would be lovely. If you've fallen in love with my calm, gentle nature, feel free to get in touch with us. Maybe you're the person with whom I'll never again have to wonder where everyone goes, because I simply belong.
